Ummatics is pleased to introduce “Ummatics Meetups,” a new initiative specifically designed for emerging researchers, academics, and enthusiasts who are deeply invested in addressing the current challenges faced by the Muslim world.

Held monthly in Istanbul, these meetups offer a dynamic platform for anyone passionate about exploring and addressing critical contemporary issues that are central to the future of the Muslim world. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute their insights and establish significant connections within a community of forward-looking, ummatic Muslims who share a desire to gain knowledge.

Our first meetup was with Dr. Admir Mulaosmanovic, a senior faculty member at the Department of Philosophy, Balikesir University. He has previously served at different public offices and educational institutions in Bosnia at senior positions. Dr. Admir is an author of three books and has expertise in studies on Alija Izetbegović. He is also a survivor of Bosnia and Herzegovina war in which he was a member of 4 Knights Brigade and was seriously wounded.
