Research Papers

The Ummatics Institute publishes original research papers on a range of ummatic issues for the benefit of scholars, students, and enthusiasts alike.

Our papers serve to developengage, and enhance, both scholarly and popular discourses on ummatic thought and practice by interrogating the various social, political, economic, religious, and historical questions most pertinent to the life and future of the Muslim Umma.

Classical Texts Series

This series compiles writings from classical Muslim scholars, using the four juristic madhhabs as an organizational framework.

The selected passages, translated and annotated by experts, focus on foundational aspects like the role of politics and governance in Islam, adherence to sharia, the communal obligation of leadership, and the religious importance of political unity.

Guest Contributions

In the spirit of our commitment to fostering dialogue and cultivating discourse on ummatic thought and practice, Ummatics provides a space for a selection of guest contributions. The opinions expressed in these publications are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Ummatics.

Translated Works

In an effort to reach wider audiences, the Ummatics Institute has been working to translate our core papers into languages predominant in the Muslim world.
