Istanbul Meetup | Navigating Muslim Identity in Ethno-National Sovereignties
As ethnic nationalism rises globally, Muslims face growing challenges to their identity and sense of belonging. This seminar explores what it means to be Muslim in states that prioritize ethnic nationality over religious identity.
Salman discusses how Muslims in such contexts preserve their faith, maintain their sense of “Muslimness,” and build connections through shared belief. What could global Muslim solidarity look like in today’s divided world?
