Ahsan Shafiq completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Hertfordshire, in 2010 and his Master’s degree from at the University of Leeds in 2012. In 2013, he embarked on his professional journey as a faculty member at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST) in Pakistan. He served as Coordinator of the Research Centre for Islamic Economics (IKAM) in Istanbul and Associate Editor of the Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics between 2017 to 2021. He was International Outreach Executive for ILKE Foundation until 2023. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD at Ibn Haldun University and is serving as the Director of Turkey Operations at the Ummatics Institute.
